The hotel is surrounded by tropical rainforest and opens out to the Kimbe Bay, known for its diving sites. The surrounding diving sites, which can be reached in less than an hour, are especially attractive. Walindi is therefore considered as a grade one destination for scuba diving.

The small community of Tufi is located 250km east north-east of Port Moresby on the northern coast, roughly half way between Lae & Alotau. Tufi is one of he most remote and isolated areas in PNG, accessible only by a twin otter aircraft that operates 3 days per week. There are no roads connecting Tufi with any other regions in PNG.

Papua has huge schools of fish, tiny seahorses, really pristene corals and islands.

Our house reef is Cape Kri, where Dr. Gerry Allen in 2001 broke his former record sighting of 203 fish species, to set a new record of 283 fish species spotted in one dive!
