At the heart of Oriental Mindoro on the Puerto Galera peninsula you will find Atlantis Dive Resort – the area’s premier dive resort and dive center. Just a short hop from Manila, Puerto Galera literally means Port of Galleons; its sheltered bays have been a safe haven for sailors for centuries. These days though it’s the world class diving and stunning scenery that keeps visitors coming back year after year.
The diversity of hard and soft corals, along with hundreds of tropical fish life makes Puerto Galera one of the most popular dive destinations in the Philippines. Waters are flushed by the current of the South China Sea, resulting in strong currents of up to 6 knots. This makes the area well known for its exhilarating drift dives. The Verde Island Passage is very deep so clear water is very common to the dive sites of Puerto Galera.
Surrounded by the brilliant, blue waters of the Sulu Sea and seven square kilometres of reef, Amanpulo is an ideal destination for divers. Novices will welcome the clear seas in front of the Beach Club and the gentle drop-off to deeper waters. A variety of fine dive locations open up on both sides of Pamalican Island, home to Amanpulo, and most are just a short boat ride away. Discover them with The Amanpulo Underwater Experience.
Included are five nights’ accommodation in a Beach Casita, full breakfast daily, served in the casita or in the Restaurant, one gourmet picnic lunch basket for two and a choice of one dive programme.
5D4N dive package from S$1,510 per diver including return airfare on Silkair.
We are situated on the south-western coast of the Island of Cebu, near the fishermen village of Moalboal, right in front of a stunning coral shoreline. The area hosts only but a handful resorts, of which Kasai Village is in a distinctive class…
Tubbataha Reef is situated almost in the middle of The Sulu Sea with the islands of Palawan to the west and Panay, Negros and Mindanao to the east. The 33,200 hectare site was declared a National Marine Park in 1988 and a World Heritage Site in 1994. Thanks to local efforts, illegal fishing and coral collection have been stamped out and the gradual destruction that was taking place before 1988 has been halted and the reef is now back in pristine condition. The diving here is considered some of the best in the world.
